80 Channel RGB Lighting Controller

MOD-U-LED System

·        MOD-U-LEDs are designed for architectural apartment marketing models.

·        Each individual MOD-U-LED is an intelligent RGB lighting module that communicates via a daisy-chain cable system. This removes the large number of cables that are normally required to connect all of the LEDs in each apartment.  20 apartments can be controlled from a single cable.

·        They have all of the control functions that other LightSwarm controllers have – including RGB colour mixing, dimmable fade programs, etc….

·        MOD-U-LEDs are supplied with pre-made cables with miniature plugs – no soldering is required to connect modules.

TuchUI

Touch Interfaces - TuchUI

TuchUI is our software suite for creating complex interactive touch screen based lighting control solutions.  TuchUI is specifically designed for controlling LightSwarm modules, but can also send commands to other control systems as well.

TuchUI supports Windows based touch screen computers, and can also be used to design Touch screen applications for Windows based handheld devices and also Apple products such as the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone.

Features include (*):

·        multi-page graphic user interfaces

·        triggering of complex time-sequenced lighting events

·        embedded web browsers on any assigned pages

·        allows users to configure specific lighting color and intensity combinations within the application for special functions such as highlighting apartments that have been sold in different colors.

  • supports wired and wireless connections.

When used with architectural marketing models, users can highlight apartments individually, or by type such as apartments of particular size, features, or the number of bedrooms.  Our system allows sales staff to track apartment sales. Apartments can be illuminated in various colors to indicate sales status, and the graphics pages on the touch screens are updated in real time automatically by the system to show which apartments are available, under offer, or sold.

LS-WFGW

Wi-Fi Gateway

·        The Wi-Fi gateway allows wireless devices (and any device on the same network) to send commands using TCP/IP to LightSwarm devices.

·        The gateway can also support receiving commands from any device connected to the Internet.

 

LEDS, Light Strips, Pre-Wired LED Cabling Looms

 

   

LED Strips

  • Rolls of LEDs, in lengths from 1 meter to 5 meters.
  • Strips contain segments 50mm long x 8 mm wide. Each segment has three LEDs.
  • 20 segments per meter, providing a total of 60 LEDs per meter.
  • Segments can be individually cut from the strip and used separately.
  • Strips are backed with double sided adhesive - simply peel away the backing tape and stick directly onto a suitable surface.
  • Supplied in minimum lengths of 1 meter (20 segments).
  • LEDs operate at 12 volts

Cable Loom With 16 Pre-Wired Strip LEDs

  • Ribbon cable pre-wired with 16 bright white or warm white strip LEDs
  • Working voltage 12 volts at 20mA per channel
  • Directly connects to MLS16 controller
  • Standard loom is 2.5 meters long.

LS-B16S1

16 Channel Breakout Board – Screw Terminals

·        A breakout board that allows the ribbon cable connections from the MLS16 controller to fan out to screw terminals.

·        Makes the wiring of complex models simpler, and allows individual towers or building in a model to be terminated independently of other modules, so that parts can be easily connected or removed.

·        Each breakout board connects 16 channels on a single 34 way ribbon cable to screw terminals.

·        Supplied with a 100mm pre-terminated ribbon cable. Shorter and longer ribbon cables are made to order.

LS-B16PJST

16 Channel Breakout Board – Plug Socket Connection

·        A breakout board that allows the ribbon cable connections to fan out to individual 2-pin sockets

·        The LED’s are connected via a 2-wire cable that has a matching pre-wired plug (use cable LS-C1JSTA1)

·        Makes the wiring of complex models simpler, and allows individual towers or building in a model to be terminated independently of other modules, so that parts can be easily connected or removed

·        Designed to be mounted inside the base of a building model in complex models that have multiple buildings. The breakout board is connected by a ribbon cable

·        Supplied with a 300mm pre-terminated ribbon cable. Shorter and longer ribbon cables are made to order.

LS-C1JSTA1

Pre-Wired Cable & Plug for LED Connections

·        A 2-wire cable that has a pre-wired 2-pin plug attached

·        Each cable plugs into a socket on the LS-B16PJST breakout board

·        Cable length is 1 meter

·        Designed to be cut to length and soldered at one end to the LED module, and the other end is plugged into a LS-B16PJST breakout board.

LS-RB16

Series Resistor Board for Low Voltage LEDs

·        This adaptor is inserted in series with a 16 channel ribbon cable connection to allow low voltage LEDs (such as our 5mm white LED) to operate from a 12 volt system.

·        Resistors are installed by the user to suit the specific LEDs used. 

16 Channel Ribbon Cable Set

·        Ribbon cable set with pre-crimped connectors at each end.

·        The cables are used to connect lighting modules to breakout boards,
or for directly wiring to LEDs.

·        The ribbon cable has 34 wires for connecting 16 LED channels.
2 wires on the cable are not used.

·        Various cable lengths available if required.
