Apartment Building - Demonstration With Handheld Remote Control

This video shows a typical lighting control application - in this case an architectural model of an apartment building with a handheld wireless keypad to control the lighting.

This apartment had 19 levels, with each level divided into four quadrants (North, South, East West). The user can illuminate from the keypad a quadrant, an entire floor, or the entire tower.  Various effects occur when a selection is made. While idle, the model displays some random lighting patterns to provide a "lived in" appearance.

This model is controlled by a single LS-D64P400 64 channel lighting control module connected to a wireless receiver. Commands are received from the handheld wireless keypad to control the lighting effects.

Apartment Building Demonstration With Touch Screen

This video demonstrates some of the lighting control functions available on typical LightSwarm modules.

For this demonstration, a model of a 16 level apartment building is configured with 64 apartments. Each apartment is fitted with a 50mm RGB LED lighting strip allowing any colour to be set.

The touch screen sends commands to the control modules to show combinations of white lighting, colour mixing and dimming levels.

Apartment Building Demonstration With Wireless Remote Control

This video demonstrates some of the lighting effects that can be programmed into a wireless keypad.

The keypad contains an automatic event sequencer program. This allows complex timed event sequences to occur in response to button presses.

Apartment Building Random Lighting Animation

This video demonstrates some basic uses of random lighting to p2rovide animation to an apartment model. This provides a "lived-in" appearance to the model.

Audio & Lighting Module Demonstration 1

The LightSwarm Audio Module combines a 256 channel MP3 player with 16 control ports. Each port can be configured as control outputs or switch inputs.  The module contains a programmable event sequencer. which is configured from a PC via a USB port.

The demonstration combines a LightSwarm Audio Module with a 64 channel Display Module providing multi-channel RGB lighting control with 5 press button inputs.

This video is a basic introduction combining audio and white lighting.

Audio & Lighting Module Demonstration 2

This video shows colour mixing and demonstrates ways of attracting users to press buttons on the control panel.

Audio & Lighting Module Demonstration 3

This video shows complex coloured lighting sequences colour mixing and demonstrates ways of attracting users to press buttons on the control panel. Unfortunately the high brightness RGB LEDs have saturated the video camera. To the naked eye the colours are vivid and uniform.

Audio & Lighting Module Demonstration 4

This video demonstrates a sequence of three separate MP3 files being played at preset time intervals, and finishes with a slow  fade-down of white light.
